LaForma Freight Policy

We don’t guarantee delivery times, but we do our best to provide accurate estimates, all our customers have a freight agreement, if you are unsure of your agreement let us know.

LaForma Freight Policy
 (Customers with accounts)

Delivery to Store/Warehouse/Carrier – Price Inclusive

  • Delivery can be made to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide metro city area, with specific terms to apply for Canberra, Darwin and Perth. Tasmania is excluded. Delivery can be made to designated carriers in the metro city area.
  • Delivery to non-capital city areas can be made with a price including additional charges provided on application.
  • Goods will be delivered by LaForma truck, furniture freighter, or courier.
  • If the product is in stock, it will be dispatched within 6 business days.
  • Delivery is to dock only.
  • The store, warehouse or carrier must be available for delivery within standard business hours. Pre-booking must be requested. Re-delivery fees may apply.

Delivery to Customer with Standard service – Price Inclusive

  • Delivery can be made to customers in metro city areas of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide metro city area, with specific terms to apply for Canberra, Darwin and Perth. Tasmania is excluded.
  • Delivery to non-capital city areas can be made with a price including additional charges provided on application.
  • Goods will be delivered by LaForma truck, furniture freighter, or courier.
  • If the product is in stock, it will be dispatched within 6 business days.
  • Delivery is made to the customer’s ground floor address only. This service includes delivery of boxed and packaged goods only.
  • The customer must be available for delivery within standard business hours. Pre-booking must be requested. Re-delivery fees may apply.

Delivery to Customer with White Glove Platinum service – Additional Fees Apply

  • Delivery can be made to customers in metro city areas of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and metro city area, with specific terms to apply for Canberra, Adelaide, Darwin and Perth. Tasmania is excluded. Goods will be delivered by Designer Transport.
  • Delivery to non-capital city areas are not available with this service.
  • If in stock will be dispatched within 6 business days to our Designer Transport depot, with a booking for delivery to the end client to then be made. 
  • Delivery will be made to the customer’s address. This service includes taking all items out of packaging, full assembly, with items put in place (once only), and removal of all packaging and waste.
  • The customer must be available for delivery within standard business hours. A delivery booking will be made. Re-delivery fees may apply.

Collection from warehouse – Price Inclusive

  • Collection from a LaForma warehouse can be made between 8am and 3pm during standard business days. LaForma must have 48 hours notice prior to collection. A special request may be made for immediate collection which will be considered but not guaranteed.
  • Full shipping labels are to be sent to LaForma administration team with 48-hour lead time for pick up.
  • Once a collection booking has been made, the order must be collected within 6 business days or re-preparation fees may apply.

Returns & Replacements

We at LaForma Australia consider offering a proper after Sales Service one of our core activities. In order to offer a quick and efficient after sales service we have developed a very simple system on our web portal, where you can send us your requests. Log in at www.laforma.com.au click on the "My Returns" tab in the my account section and complete the requested information and upload a photo if applicable.

Returns

Check the goods before signing the transport document for goods receipt. We do not accept claims for goods which have been signed off as received properly and which are not communicated to LaForma Australia within 24 hours upon receipt.
Any service claims must be submitted through our service module in our secure portal.  Log in at www.laforma.com.au click on the "My Returns" tab and complete the requested information and upload a photo if applicable.

Product returns must be authorized by LaForma Australia by means of our ‘Return Merchandise Authority’ using the method above.
Product returns will not be admitted for error in your order or cancellation, manipulated and/or without their original and sealed packaging.  

If a return is approved a 15% restocking fee will be applicable.  

Guarantee

In accordance with Australian consumer law LaForma products come with guarantees that can not be excluded under Australian Consumer law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable forseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The products distributed by LaForma Australia have a warranty of 2 years for production defects. Exempt from this warranty are products with defects caused by poor assembling, inappropriate use, wearing or aging of the product, changes in colours/materials in line with natural use of the product and/or maintenance different from the one prescribed by the manufacturer.

Wooden Furniture

Wood is a natural product with pores that absorb moisture from humidity and environmental factors which at times can result in changes in colour & design. In return it results in unique pieces of furniture. Irregular absorbtion of light can leave permanent stains and marks on the product. It is reccomended not to place any object on its surface during the first weeks of use. Variations in surface, colour tones, and knots in the wood are characteristics of wood and therefore not to be considered a reason to claim.

Cleaning

Cleaning must be done with a damp cloth, without the use of any chemical dissolvent and must be finished with a dry cloth. in case of contact with moisture or spills clean immediately to avoid damage.

Stock

Whilst we endeavour to show accurate stock levels at the time you purchase please be aware stock is not confirmed as available until you receive your invoice. 

LaForma Australia can't be held responsible for variations in stock levels or stated order ETA's, these can change suddenly and without notice and are often completely beyond our control.  

Minimum order

Minimum order value of $250.00 applies to all orders and in certain circumstances a minimum of 2 cubic meters also apply.

Pricing and discount values listed in our outlet/sales section are valid for purchases made via our website shopping cart function only.
